He was informed how the site was run and saw all the plots. Derek will now be putting some questions to the Head of Greenspace, Mr Nigel Hartley who is in overall charge of all the allotments in Bolton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-10.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-10.webp 960w, https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-10-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-10-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">olton Council provide no subsidy for the allotments in Bolton, so it is generally down to volunteer allotment holders to sort out any problems they have on the allotment sites. Mr Hartley stated in a recent visit to Sapling Road Allotment Site that \u201cBolton Council had no money available\u201d and that \u201cany help provided by volunteers would be gratefully received\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-11.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-11.webp 960w, https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-11-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/saplingroadallotmentsociety.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-11-768x576.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sapling Road Allotment Site has a number of plots which require renovation and it is hoped that the waiting list for the site will be opened shortly.
