The results of our Summer Fruit & Vegetable Competition held on Sunday 21st July are as follows…

1st. Mr Alan Saunders (plot 2) awarded 299 points
2nd. Mr Zuber Desai (plot 45) awarded 47 points
3rd. Mr Ian Bullough (plot 44) awarded 31 points
4th. Mr Allan Kelly (plot 23) awarded 27 points
5th. Mr Jan Carter (plot 43) awarded 21 points
6th Ms Karen Dyson (plot 55) awarded 12 points

There were 33 entries in total which were marked according to RHS guidelines. The competition will continue with our Autumn Fruit & Vegetable Competition which is to be held on Sunday 29th September on Sapling Road Allotment Site. Points awarded at that competition will be added to the points above. The person with the most points will be declared allotmenteer of the year and prizes will be awarded at our December Meeting (date to be announced).
