Children trespassing on the site
In an attempt to stop children trespassing on the site, Chairman Jan Carter piled a load of cut branches against the gate at the bottom of the site. This gate was closed off 12 years ago and is used by children to gain access to the site. The children use footholds provided by the hinges…

Electric in Amenity Hut
Last year (April 2024), Bolton Council agreed to pay the electricity bill for the amenity hut. Sapling Road is a statutory allotment site and is a “Class A” allotment. Bolton Council provide services to tenants on the site, namely, water, flush toilets and an amenity hut (with electric). The services provided by the Council are…
